1. WHAT ARE MITOCHONDRIA? Mitochondria are the “energy factory” of our cells. Several thousand mitochondria are in nearly every cell in the body. Their job is to process oxygen and convert substances from the foods we eat into energy, our metabolism. Mitochondria produce 90% of the energy our body needs to function.
2. WHAT DOES MITOCHONDRIA HAVE TO DO WITH AGING? Our mitochondria are literally powering everything in our bodies, from our heartbeat to our brain cells and unfortunately, our mitochondria decline over time or when stressed. Mitochondria deals with aging in two ways: 1) Receiving information from the nucleus on the energy needs of the cell, and 2) Producing the energy that the cells need to do their job. Can lead to several negative body functions and diseases.
3. WHAT DOES MITOCHONDRIAL DECLINE FEEL LIKE? Fatigue, Brain fog, Sluggishness, Lack of motivation, Delayed healing, Vision decline, Muscle weakness, Confusion, Hearing problems, Learning disabilities, Joint tension, Lack of mobility, Gut issues, Headaches, Difficulty breathing, and more!
4. WHAT CAN WE DO TO PREVENT THE DECLINE OF OR RESTORE OUR MITOCHONDRIA? Start a preventative approach as quickly as possible. Reduce Oxidative Stress. Fortify your cells with good nutrition. Good carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Trigger the NRF1 Pathway. Equipping you with the KNOWLEDGE you need to have the HEALTH you so desire!
