I’m betting that if you had a dollar for every time you wondered if you should do X or Z, go down path A or B, or whether you were picking the “right” choice – from ice cream flavor to if you give that one client a free deal – you’d be a billionaire by now.
And I was recently just talking about this with a client on a coaching call.
How do you KNOW what is the right choice to make?
Goodness knows we make a lot of choices in our life, truly in every moment. The buyer’s remorse, the doubt if you picked “right”, and the analysis paralysis about whether A or B is the better way to go are very real.
Talk about FOMO and pressure, pressure, pressure.
I’ve even felt a touch of this lately as I support my husband in navigating numerous heavy-feeling decisions around his mother’s declining health and palliative care. I know it’s a story to say it, but tough stuff and never fun.
But when it comes to decision making, most women are asking the wrong questions.
“Which choice is the right choice? Which choice is better?”
As I explore inside this podcast Episode 17, Buyer’s Remorse, choosing by asking these questions actually works against you.
Why? Because these questions are coming from your analytical brain, are based on your brain’s hardwired need for security, predictability, and survival, and tune you out of the intuitive Soul lead guidance that would actually help you.
There is much more helpful and higher frequency approach and question to ask yourself when decision making. And I’m sharing that with you here so that you are no longer going round and round, doubting, or regretting your daily and “big life” choices.
This is about you more easily, confidently making choices and then opening yourself up to the support of your Soul and Universe so it works out for you better than you ever even imagined it.
