About four weeks prior we had my dad, Erik von Werlhof on the podcast.  This week we continue this theme by introducing Hope's Father, David Austin to our list of Redwood PowerShow guests.  David was kind enough to fly us out to visit him and his wife Michelle for the week in Florida and we of course are having an absolute blast. The first time I met the man he struck me as a formidable force in the weight room as the guy looks like he can literally move mountains.  During our conversation we find out that he practically did while touring with the Air Force, working construction in places like Afghanistan.  He did this of course in full combat uniform and was still sure to hit the gym afterwords.  Hope is my co-host for this episode and we discuss the reintroduction of the WPO into the world of powerlifting and the impact it might have on the sport.  We also cover Humboldt county news.  The real meat and potatoes of this episode however is the wonderful conversation my wife and I were able to have with her father David Austin.  Sit back, Relax and enjoy Redwood PowerShow.
