  • Man, we out here feeling like the boy drake, we going back to back with these bangers, it’s a new week and that means it’s a new episode of the grind theory podcast, a new guest dropping new gems, making this the latest podcast banger. Today we are joined by the man who kills cameras Bobby T, Bobby T is the host of his own podcast the Cadence of Bobby, he is also one of the leaders in the videography and marketing space in Edmonton being the founder of Vision made media. 

 

  • This episode we jump into a little bit of everything, from bobby’s early childhood upbringing where he got the best of both worlds being able to go home to Jamaican often and immersed himself in the Jamaican culture, as well as being involved in the black community, to being a professional gamer, to running his own clothing store while in university and how he learnt to constantly push himself out of his comfort zone to grow, and much much more.

 

  • Bobby T shares his childhood lessons and experiences growing up in the city being part of two organizations one being the Jamaican association of Alberta, and the other the natio0nal black culture in Canada, these organizations allowed him to stay in touch with his roots and the experiences being a young black man getting into scraps and fist fights and realizing he is also different from everyone else as a black man experiencing racism first hand, but still Bringing home the point that each lesson and obstacle was essential to mold him into the person he is today.  

 

  • Bobby dives into his time as a professional gamer at a fairly young age and having access to the gaming world and that level of competition, this helped push him out of his comfort zone and having the opportunity to visit many different counties and experience their cultures during the competitions. This helped him realize the importance of discipline and networking, and what led him to eventually leave the gaming world. 

 

  • Bobby shares his experience operating a clothing store while in university and how beneficial it was to him excelling in school because he was able to implement what he was learning in school to see if it was accurate or not, he shares his biggest struggles and obstacles he faced running the clothing store, and what ultimately led him to close the store. 

 

  • This interview is filled with laughs and hilarious stories from bobby’s childhood, getting into different fights and scraps, as well as his vast number of experiences that happened in a short amount of time. This interview ended up going for three hours, hence the name the man that kills cameras. Along with the laughs Bobby provided a lot of gems that he has learned through this all, this is just part one of a masterpiece.
