In this episode, we talk to Aurelijus from Dassault about the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF). UAF is a framework for modeling enterprise architectures. In the past, architecture frameworks were mainly used in the military context, such as the Department of Defence Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Nato Architecture Framework (NAF), or Ministry of Defence Architecture Framework (MoDAF). The UAF is a specification of the OMG.

In the non-military domain, there is an increasing need for system-of-systems modeling, especially due to increasing global collaboration and IoT technologies.

Aurelijus is co-chairman and one of the leading architects for the current OMG UAF specification development group. So he is the perfect guest to chat about UAF.
