Airing of the Grievances
 

We took off last week to rest up, and celebrate the Independence Day holiday. In that spirit (the Spirit of ’76?), we have prepared the following list of grievances, so that we might make our own declaration. Here, in this list, we let certain members of the Birdland community know that they are on notice. With tongue firmly planted in cheek, we whine about our first place team.
 
Truth or Truth

With the All Star break upon us, we return to an old favorite, and ask ourselves a series of serious questions. And with all apologies to Steven Colbert, we want the truth… or we’ll settle for the truth.
 
Fantasy Boss

This one was weird. We took an unexpected week off, and when we last left our “heroes,” Scott had selected the number of strikeouts. Jake went with Kevin Gausman, and Scott went with Chris Tillman.
Gausman won the first week 7-3.
