Neurodiversity is the belief that we should be accepting of all kinds of neurological functioning. ADHD, Autism, LD, SPD; these children are not DIS-abled but Differently-abled! Shouldn't we help grow our children's confidence, no matter what label they happen to be given? Who knows if your child is the next Temple Grandin (who has Autism), Michael Phelps (who had ADHD as a child), or Stephen Speilberg (who has dyslexia). Maybe their differences MADE them who they were?
