Death and Deconstruction - with my dear friend and chosen sister, Gris Alves. We met up via zoom, a few weeks back, and had a beautifully vulnerable conversation around the topic of deconstruction and healing after losing a parent. We talk "the good, the bad, and the ugly" and all the in-betweens. The road home is not linear and requires us to take agency over our own-self, in order to truly heal and return. I believe in sharing our stories...our lives, because when we do, we can see ourselves, gain a fresh perspective, and begin choosing differently.
