We all know that the bridged version of the first amendment is the freedom of speech what else dose it protect and what is the exact verbiage? In this episode we break down the Fist Amendment line by line word by word. It is always important to know your rights but its also important to know the consequences of your actions.
The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws which regulate an establishment of religion, or that would prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.
Our ability to have free speech is one of the unalienable rights of being American.
We really dive into the freedoms and the constraints that come with it.
The defamation law:
We dabble into rhetoric and propaganda
Propaganda is information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view.
