Plan for It

Script out what you want to say.
Delete what is not necessary.
Highlight 1-2 things that need to be said.
Be willing to admit your own mistakes.
Set up a time to talk.
Give a quick overview to explain what you want to talk about in the most neutral way.
Ask questions to show you are willing to listen: "Is there a way we can make the process more efficient? Is there anything I can do individually to make it easier on you?”
