The Yuletide cannot stop this podcast, because I worked ahead for a change and uploaded it all ahead of time like a responsible show-runner, running a show that is largely for my own amusement. I also probably spent a little too much time too close to my mic, and so some of the audio is uh, less pristine than I'd like it, but I also only have so much time to spend on this stuff.
Episode 18 is all about corrupt police running drugs, which they treat as a big deal in this episode but to which we say "yeah, that's just the LA County Sheriff, whatever, jog on mate." But this episode breaks through our tough cynical exteriors by being extremely comedic, with some of the best back-and-forth dialogue in the series and, we're totally not kidding, an actual good male co-star for the Lovely Angels to bounce off of. Oh, and Gooley is here too, getting involved and doing his best to keep the Lovely Angels from getting shot by cops.
That's it for this year, we'll see you all again in 2024. How's January 11th sound?
