Welcome back to The Student Physio Podcast. This week we are joined by Stephen Mutch. In this episode, we discuss an origin story, our new relationship with ACPSEM (Physios in Sport), the ACPSEM Spring Conference on 25th and 26th March, and plans going forward. Stephen is chair of ACPSEM and has had a variety of jobs including working in NHS, private and sporting settings and has a great deal of experience in professional rugby, having worked with Scotland rugby for 20 years and more recently with the Irish national team as the lead physio, he has also worked at 13 multisport games representing Great Britain. Currently, ACPSEM is rolling out a new platform for developing your portfolio, this will allow students and physios to upload CPD from a variety of sources such as Podcasts and Youtube in order to demonstrate ongoing learning.
