That Real Blind Tech Show

Episode 182 - WWDC 25 Recap, Assumption Is the Mother of All F'ups!

Listen Later

It’s an all new That Real Blind Tech show as Allison, Brian, David, and Jeanine recap this year’s WWDC.

We kick our review off with Brian discussing his recent experiences on his Delta flights to San Francisco, and some odd things happened.

We kick off our WWDC coverage discussing the sentiment of the angry mob outside Apple HQ letting their feelings be known about the state of Apple Intelligence. We move on to discuss the new Liquid glass coming to all Apple devices and what this will mean for Assistive Tech users.

We then discuss all the new features supposedly coming to Apple Intelligence some time in the next millennium. We discuss the new Apple Visual Intelligence not to be confused with the Apple crappy Visual Intelligence for the blind that launched last year.

Is Apple punting on Siri updates? Don’t expect an updated Siri to at least Spring 2026.

We then dive in to a list of accessibility features coming in iOS 26. We hope this list we located is not rumor and is actually fact.

iOS 26 will bring massive changes to your Home Screen, but which screen is your Home Screen? And Apple Intelligence will give us a new look to messages and the phone app. We then discuss the new features coming to Notes and Reminders. Apple Maps is getting a new look and a few other things.

Apple Music will be getting a pinned list

Boarding Passes will come to the Apple Wallet which in turn will then get live activities.

We then discuss our favorite items from the list of all the things Apple failed to mention.

The share Sheet is getting a makeover.

Your Apple Wallet will now track all of your shipments you receive an email notification about.

Spotlight in Mac OS Tahoe will become much more powerful. Spotlight will be getting Quick Key commands you can customize. Spotlight will also get the long wanted Clipboard History.

The Apple Watch will get a new wrist gesture to dismiss notifications and phone calls. We then discuss all the other features coming to the Apple Watch, spoiler alert it is brief.

The iPad will be getting four new apps. Much more exciting then the new apps is that the iPad will be getting the menu bar. The file structure is getting a much needed overhaul.

And finally we discuss all the new features coming to air Pods.

And it’s more of Watcha Streaming, Watcha Reading.
