I got a simple email from John yesterday, it simply said,

I think they’re underestimating but here’s another article about robots taking more white collar jobs- http://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/07/the-robots-set-to-disrupt-white-collar-work.html

Well I have discussed automation a lot lately and every time I do I get big push back from a lot of you guys.  Frankly “underestimating” is the perfect term for it so I popped John a quick email and asked him if he’d like to do an off the cuff interview today and he graciously agreed.

Today John and I discuss automation, the economy, the coming demographic bomb, the effects of hackers and mass shootings, coping with this change and more.
