Welcome, boys and girls, to another Lawcast Classic. This time it's Great American Bash 2007, a bizarre show that took place in the shadow of the Chris Benoit murder/suicide. Our hosts recount that tragic event and the effect it had on WWE and the wrestling business as a whole. This gave us concussion testing and a drug testing policy with actual teeth. It was also probably one of the things that led to WWE moving to a more family friendly product. In the shadow of that awful tragedy, WWE somehow had to put on a wrestling show. And they actually delivered a fairly compelling card with John Cena defending the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley in the main event.
