Solomonster reviews the first WWE Raw of 2026 with CM Punk defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker and TWO title changes on the show, which also set up a major match for Germany next week.  Yet this was a perfect example of one of those WWE shows where things happen, but it largely feels lifeless and boring.  An oh yeah, Je'Von Evans was announced as the newest addition to the Raw roster... during a commercial break.

Solomonster reviews the first WWE Smackdown of 2026 with a return to THREE hours, as well as the return of Randy Orton and arrival of new faces like Matt Cardona, Trick Williams and Jordynne Grace. Drew McIntyre also names his stipulations for Three Stages of Hell with Cody Rhodes next week in Berlin, Giulia regains the Women's US title and Damian Priest ends his rivalry with Aleister Black in an Amublance Match.  Certainly a newsworthy show, but was it a good one?
