Team Byers is a married couple who train together and race IRONMANs and are long-distance trail runners, finishing 100 to 150 miles by foot. They met in 2009 and married in 2010. In 2011 IRONMAN Texas came to The Woodlands and they both volunteered, which sparked their interest in the sport. Ryan did his first triathlon in 2012 after being cleared from knee surgery and Ashley did her first triathlon in 2014, and the rest is history. Ryan is a Co-Founder of Renegade Endurance and they both are on the Race Like a Viking Endurance Team.
