Today's Conversation is with Magdalena Weinstein.
Magdalena is a latinx cis-gendered woman from Chile, living in Northern California. She is a parent, wife, a trauma therapist, counselor and coach. She offers services (live and online), series and workshops using tools and frames from Somatic Experiencing, Crisis Counseling, Somatic Coaching, Applied Neurology and Yoga.
Magdalena believes that our body contains the wisdom, strength and resilience that we long for and she feels called to rediscover, and I feel honored to guide people into accessing their inner intelligence in this journey of connection and integration within ourselves, with each other and with the earth.
In today's conversation we talk with Magdalena about how Magdalena got involved in Somatic Experiencing, the role of trauma in BLM and other movements, Corona and what may come from a nervous system regulatory view, being “in the bag,” polyvagal theory... and more...
We started with a bit of audio issues but they cleared up more as we got moving.
