Senior Moments:

Gary’s Knee: A trip to the bowling alley, followed by a night sleeping in the chair with his feet on the coffee table left Gary awaking to knee pain.

AARP: Brian’s AARP membership card arrived in the mail this past week.

DoorDash: The New York Times profiled a couple that is spending $700 a week on DoorDash.

Toilet Repair: Brian, along with his wife and sister-in-law, fixed a leaky seal on the bathroom toilet.

Hantavirus: For something not really contagious, the mass media is sure making a big deal out of it, right? ABC News has added a “tracker” on its website.

George Carlin: Brian read a January 1982 Playboy interview with the late comic on Substack, on what would have been the comedian’s 89th birthday on May 12th.

Philip Roth: Brian just read Portnoy’s Complaint and has started reading the biography of the late author, who grew up in Newark, New Jersey. Roth attended summer camp in East Stroudsburg and college at Bucknell University.
