LAWD, y’all—we told you a whole lot has happened since we last checked in, and it sure has! Between the whirlwind of kicking off a new year, our kids getting their licenses, moving homes, and starting new jobs, we’ve had more than our fair share on our plates. On a real and vulnerable note, we’ve been missing The Getaway something fierce. Sometimes, knowing when to press pause is a lesson all its own, and it takes true courage to do if it feels right. We needed that pause—to reflect, reset, and dream up something fresh. The goal? To come back bigger and better than ever in 2026!
