Because we couldn’t squeeze A L L the things into part 1, we had to come back and finish! There’s just so much to share! Our Bubbles and Blooms flower workshop at Wildflowers. the Mahjong Mixer, Brunch on the Bluff with Musee CEO Leisha Pickering and the grand finale, The Bayside Dinner Party. Download all the deets now!
We are back from our 5th Getaway and we had the best time in Fairhope! I dare say it was our favorite one yes because, we say that every year- but there was something about this group.
We just gelled together, everyone kind of let loose and didn’t worry about who they came with, or how they didn’t want to make friends with other people- we were just one big group.
And the central theme , (un planned) seemed to center around connection.
In this episode we talk all about the events leading up to the Getaway , including the eventful ride down, and Courtney popping a tire! We take you through Friday morning, with our lovely welcome party and the Speaker session and popup with Sunshine Tienda. PS) we LOVE Amanda and Laura!

The Behind the Scenes episodes are always hilarious to listen to. It’s the down and dirty, non instagrammable side of the weekend that no one sees or hears about until after all the cameras have long been put away.
Episode 180 is no different , except this tome we are looking back over a span of 5, no, 4, no, 5 years of mishaps and snafu’s on the Getaway.
Do you know about the parking lot near fight that Courtney got into? Our Venue falling apart the day before our event and having to scramble at the last second ? the MONOGRAMMING MIRACLE? IT’s all in the pod.
Also spilling some tea about our 5th Annual Getaway to Fairhope in 5 weeks! Giving you more lowdown about ALL THE THINGS happening this year! Bring your wallet and come on! Tickets still available.
*Written by Kali Bringham: 👋Hey Y'all! It's not every day you have a former WINNER of the Bachelor on the podcast. And when Sarah brings along her bestie and business partner, Courtney, everyone is gonna WIN! Pull up a glass of sweet tea and put on your pearls (I did!) to have a real deal chat about the ups and downs and all arounds of being a mom, working, finding time for all the extras-- or not-- and making sure you don't lose your sense of humor along the way.
And I can promise you in between the laughs and the stories, you're going to find some great truths and tips that you can take with you as you take your next steps in this motherhood journey with your two new Southern sisters.

In this episode we are recapping alllllll that has been happening with Say It Southern. From Season 3 of the Say It Southern Web Series, presented by Renasant Bank, to the Getaway for 40 women we hosted in Fairhope, AL a few weeks ago. Join us as we Say It Southern and catch up on all the things!
Are you ready to change the world? Well, you will be once you finish this podcast with the awesome, inspiring CEO, mother of five, change maker Leisha Pickering.
This endeavor began after seeing a need for employment in the local community. Leisha had the idea that a quality bath product, made by hand, could provide jobs for individuals. Moreover, she holds a guiding principle that everyone has value and that everyone should be valued - looking at one’s potential, not simply his or her past. Because of this, the Musee Makers are often women in recovery, individuals with disabilities, and others in need of work. It is Musee’s hope to create an environment of self-dignity and a place where people feel loved and encouraged.
From the humble beginnings in her kitchen, Musee quickly established itself in the bath product industry. Currently, Musee is the largest wholesale producer of bath balm in the country with 3,000 partnered stores in all 50 states. Musee has launched soaks, candles, soaps, shower steamers, and lotions with plans for new products in the near future.

We were thrilled to be asked to attend the Rise with Renasant Women’s Summit in Birmingham, Alabama this past week.
On Monday night they hosted a meet and greet with us, (flattered) and we were able to mix and mingle with the attendees. We met an amazing group of women and were so honored to be involved, and to be able to share in this time together.
Also in this episode you hear a little about our first Getaway speaker of 2024, Lindsay Thomas of Garland Bags!
She’s a dang hoot, and we cannot wait to be with her in Fairhope! Tickets on sale now under the GETAWAY tab!
