Standing at 5'11 but packing a solid 190 pounds on that frame, David played a fearless style of hockey that would garner him multiple millions of dollars per season if he played today. David could could send a message with his gloves on or his gloves off. For Islanders fans, think Steve Thomas. This part one of three.
