In this episode we will make few discoveries, dig into our every-day habits, layer by layer, and meet the Busy Bee.
Firstly, I will challenge you to answer the question “How are you?”
Sound simple, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, it’s not. It’s the most neglected and overused question in the world and Marc Brackett - professor at Yale University - and I would like to show you the shocking truth about how we REALLY are… or… WHY we have absolutely no idea how we really are.
That discovery will lead us to the Seven Shades of Negligence - the classification of the types of personalities that tend to forget about their mental health and live completely disconnected, without controlling their own wellbeing. It is seven categories that I created purely for my better understanding of people around me and, surprisingly, most people now cat find themselves within one of the groups.
Straight away, we will jump into the world of the first personality type - Busy Bee.
If you are an ambitious, hard-working person that is always busy, follows their goals and strives for a great, fulfilled life, but in the same time… in this whole hustle and craziness forgets about taking care of their mind and actually fears being vulnerable in any way, as that might be perceived as weakness… This episode is exactly for YOU.
Large number of people between their twenties and fifties - including myself - get tangled in their career and world’s expectations. We do not want to be vulnerable. We do not want to be losers.
Brené Brown and I will show you what vulnerability really means and why we shouldn’t fear it…. Why, if fact, we should embrace our vulnerability and be proud of it! We will discover together, why being vulnerable open the door to honest and fulfilled life.
And finally, Brooke Castillo - one of my favourite Life Coaches - will take us through the process of shaping our own thoughts and feelings, which allows us to control our actions. Once we learn that basic, but incredibly eye-opening concept, nothing is impossible!
It’s time to get a grip of our wellbeing. Let’s learn how to do this. Together.
