Today's guest is Doug Hester. Doug is the University of Arizona’s Business Intelligence Architect and he leads the UAIR Systems Architecture & Security team. In 2008 he selected as the technical lead supporting the university's central Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) system and since 2015, is the UAIR BI Architect. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering and has worked in IT at the University of Arizona since 1997. Doug has presented on data warehousing and business intelligence topics at national conferences and for other university leaders.  He occasionally consults for other higher education business intelligence and institutional research departments.
