In the Christmas episode, I met with a Berlin-based comedian Moni Zhang to discuss how expats, who don’t celebrate Christmas in their cultures, experience Christmas in Germany. Moni is from China, and they don’t give a damn about Christmas, in Ukraine we are orthodox, so we celebrate Christmas in January. For me, it always felt a bit weird being in Germany during this time of the year so I decided to make an episode with someone who shares a similar experience. Moni is from Wuhan, so of course, we also discuss what’s happening there with the coronavirus, and why she is ok with Chicken being slaughtered at meat factories.
