Dr Katie Hesketh is a Post Doc researcher at Liverpool John Moores University investigating mobile health technology and exercise adherence. She has recently finished her PhD, which looked at the real world application of high intensity interval training within an inactive/at risk population. During this time she developed a novel home-based HIIT protocol using body-weight exercises, and evaluated the effectiveness of other HIIT modalities such as videos seen used by influencers on social media.
