These stories are some stories that get told over and over and over again… Rabbi Fohrman talks about this as a lullaby effect, that we’ve heard these stories so many times we say “this is what happened.” But, these stories [we’ve] been told aren’t what’s actually written. As Kate alluded to, the snake is actually walking.
