Setting realistic expectations is critical in your battle with anxiety. Too many people think in simplistic terms about anxiety--"just do this" or "just don't do that", but they never really understand what's going on in their heart or around them that is contributing to their anxiety. For many people there are a number of contributing factors to their anxiety and each needs to be understood and addressed and that usually takes some length of time, it is very rarely a fast process, but it is definitely worth the work!
