In this podcast we talk about the “Silent Generation”  The generation in which our parents grew up.  We believe we have to sort through the dynamics of our parent’s  generation to attempt to decipher our parents mind set in our attempt to understand the decisions they made in their lives.  We will also look at the family my mom grew up in to see if there are any clues to unraveling our mom’s mind and if they still effect her today.     

Some of the questions we will discuss are: What is the Silent Generation? What were the effects it had on our mother growing up?  Did the Depression and War have an effect on her relationship she had with her parents? Did being an only child have it’s effects too? Being raised by older parents?
