In Episode Two we tackle the doctrine of Hell and who actually taught it the most in the Bible. The cast is still just Andy Bishop, Billy Kimzey and Rick Welch at this time but the podcast is beginning to take shape. Billy brings some ideas for podcast titles (We could have been Church Chatter folks). Andy begins honing in on the editing and quality of the show. Rick begins to struggle with the lessons he's learned in the past concerning this doctrine and digs deeper into the bible, geography during Jesus's time and a bit of history to get some answers. We discover a place called the Valley of Hinnom (Gehenna) and also the differing opinions on Jesus Christ's story of the Rich Man and Lazarus he tells in Luke Chapter 16. Is it a parable or factual? Keep in mind that we make mistakes along the way (Incorrect quote on blessed are the poor in spirit...which we correct in a later episode). We hope you enjoy!
