In 1978, famous country star Bobby Mackey purchased an unassuming brick building in Wilder, Kentucky with plans to turn it into a successful country music bar. At the time, he knew nothing of its violent past, the effect it would have on his pregnant wife, or that it would come to be known as the most haunted nightclub in America. The building stands on the site of a former slaughterhouse, and the well in the basement may not only be a portal to hell, but the dumping place of a murdered woman’s decapitated head; buckle up, because that is just the beginning of the building’s dark and lengthy history.
