This episode to start with didn't sit right with me. I had the idea of telling my story through the podcast a while ago. But I didn't want to, because I didn't want anyone to think of me differently or treat me above or below them. I wanted to fit in. I've always stuck extremely true to my values throughout life but I have used different masks to portray different area's of my life or to be someone I'm not. Last year all of this started to shift for me once I found my tribe and felt safe being vulnerable amongst friends. This year when I started the podcast and started interviewing people who I looked up to I realised the importance of sharing our own stories. The purpose of this episode is to allow others to feel comfortable to share their stories. I have come to the point where I am extremely proud of my story and my journey and I am even more proud of the man I am today.
