Dave & Christopher continue their series of reviews of award-winning (or award-deserving) movies by reviewing the 1975 drama "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" (starring Jack Nicholson and Louise Fletcher and directed by Milos Forman and based on the bestselling 1962 novel of the same name by Ken Kesey)
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is only the second of three films all-time to win all five major Academy Awards (Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Director, and Screenplay) along with It Happened One Night (1934) and The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
It won numerous Golden Globes and BAFTA Awards. In 1993, the film was deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the United States Library of Congress, and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry
