We are not doctors and we are not making diagnoses -- but we are sharing our observations about what we see as the overlap between desire to transition and high-functioning autistic traits. And we're not the only ones who've noticed this connection. While many trans activists wear their 'neurodivergence' as a badge of honor (often listed in bio), it has become a sticking point amongst gender critical activists and detransitioners, many of whom believe it makes even adult medical transition unethical.
