Opioid deaths rose 29% during the pandemic. Not a huge surprise that people were self-medicating during a difficult time. The overload of the pandemic and the election, the illegal drug trade has been able to multiply their efforts. The (STOP) act put in place in 2017 was meant to prevent and enforce criminal cartels from being able to ship illegal drugs to America via the International Postal Service.
