There's nothing wrong with dating, the problem is when people are chasing individuals for the wrong reasons and in the wrong ways, while totally disregarding the truth. Just because you want someone doesn't mean they feel the same about you There are always consequences for bad choices and decisions. Learning to see beyond your feelings takes growth and maturity. Some people never reach the level they can because they're too desperate and eager for love and companionship. Many people don't love self therefore they make everyone else (especially significant others) more important. This leads to all types of mistreatment.
