In 1973, the murder of David 'Stringbean' Akeman and his wife Estelle shook the country music community in Nashville. Stringbean regularly played at the Grand Ole Opry and traveled around playing his music. He was also a regular on the comedy show Hee Haw. A robbery gone wrong resulted in Stringbean and Estelle's murder. Tune in to hear the details!
