Today's guest is Amanda from Los Angeles. When she was young, she loved Halloween dress-up and drag, an indication that she would be into cosplaying.  As a teenager, she experienced her first anime convention and noticed that she felt out of place, wearing only regular clothes apart from the cosplayers who went.  She started to research a bit about cosplay and eventually decided to push herself to become a cosplayer. Interacting with the community as a cosplayer gives her happiness and positivity.
