Raven was a devoted fan of anime and manga. Her passion led her to cosplay one of her favorite characters Dark Magician Girl from Yu-Gi-Oh!. However, after completing her first cosplay, she made the difficult decision to cancel all planned photoshoots, feeling that the result didn’t meet her personal standards. Determined to improve, Raven began working even harder to reach the level of quality she envisioned. By 2017, her dedication started to pay off, and she has continued to refine her craft ever since.

 At the age of 14, Cele began cosplaying. Even with limited resources and experience, she managed to bring certain characters to life with creativity and passion. After a 10-year hiatus, she was reintroduced to the world of cosplay through a friend who recognized her potential not just as a cosplayer, but also as a promising musician. That friend invited her to one of the Attack on Titan musical plays. The fusion of music and theatrical performance reignited something in Cele. It was the perfect blend of her two passions, and exactly what she needed to return to cosplay once again.

 As a teenager, AJ was a promising illustrator and a passionate fan of Vocaloid. While AJ was already familiar with anime, They were surprised to learn that people dressed up as Vocaloid characters. Anime Fest, an anime festival in Dallas in 2012, is where Soltaire first encountered cosplay. Soltaire grew up with a deep love for anime and was amazed when he first saw cosplayers wandering the conference decked out as anime characters. After learning the basics of cosplay, he became a cosplayer and bought his outfit from an internet retailer.

In 2013, Wannes wanted to create a crossdressed version of a Vocaloid female character because he was obsessed with her. His lack of cosplay expertise, however, made it difficult for him to locate the costume, so he would look for clothing that closely resembled the character. A year later, when Wannes received a taste of one of Belgium's largest cosplay events, everything changed for him.

Shuu is a Portuguese cosplayer who first made friends in 2007 who were aware of her passion for Japanese rock, or J-rock. When her friends offered to join her as a cosplayer while they were watching a cosplay competition at their local convention, she accepted without hesitation. Eighteen years later, she was one of the more seasoned cosplayers, and she continues to learn and love it today.

Around 2014, Alini, a Belgian cosplayer, was first exposed to cosplay at a conference. She became intrigued by this and attempted to look for images related to cosplay. In the same year that she was first introduced to cosplay, she started taking part a few weeks later. She became so interested in cosplay that she began building her costumes instead of purchasing them. Surprisingly, the aspect of producing a costume that most thrills her is working with foam to create armor and props.
