What a gorgeous collection of songs this newest Sophisticated Morning is. I start the set out with the heart-tugging acoustic mix of "All On Me" with Andreas Moe on vocals (produced by Armin van Buuren) and then weave my way through warm and emotionally rich morning music before subtly ending up on a sound of gorgeous and uplifting trance music. Have you been following me long enough to have been on my dance floors back in the 1990s? If you have been then you'll know that I have a big love of trance music. And if you haven't been along for the ride with me that long....well, now you know! There are elements of trance in all of the songs towards the beginning of the set and elements of morning music in all of the latter trance pieces -- so the trip is smooth and subtle. These are songs with emotional chords, melodies and rhythms that will pull at your heartstrings no doubt. I hope that you receive as much joy as you listen as I did conceiving the set.
