In this episode, I’m sharing one of the most impactful tools I’ve used to take back control of my thoughts and emotions—something I learned from Jody Moore and Brooke Castillo that completely changed the game for me. When we moved to St. George and Cody left for HXP, I was alone, overwhelmed, and spiraling mentally. That’s when I found coaching and learned a model that helped me shift everything. I’ve simplified it so it’s easy to remember—and I call it the TEAR model (Thought, Emotion, Action, Result).
This model helped me see that it’s not my circumstances making me feel overwhelmed or defeated—it’s my thoughts about them. And if I can choose my thoughts, I can change my life. In this episode, I walk you through real-life examples (like parenting moments, friendship triggers, or just everyday chaos) and how I’ve used this model to flip the script.
