Kurt is back! Nathanael is gone again! .... Lately it seems we can't get everyone together at the same time. Next week I think we will all be here though. It's looking like Kurt will be able to fit us into his busy schedule again so we should have him on the show regularly again as well.
Kurt tells us about the classes he's been taking for solar technology. Some of Tesla's solar tech isn't as good as you might have thought it was compared to what else is out there.
There is a controversial law that can allow a person to be charged with someone that isn't a crime if they can prove you were using it to engage in criminal activity.
The Jester is back at it again! This time taking down a Russian website in retaliation to the DNC hack as well as the recent DDoS attack on Dyn.
It's interesting how old tech doesn't really come up in value very much like an antique of other varieties would. Most old computers might come up in price a little bit but not to crazy amounts of money for what you're getting. Of course Apple is the except with their original iPhone going for as much as $8,000 now.
Soylent may not be people, but there is something in it that is making people sick. They are having to recall their second product in recent weeks due to more people having adverse reactions when ingesting their products.
Denon is going to be bringing Amazon Echo to their HEOS wireless speaker system. I'm excited for this because this is the exact solution I've been looking to find for when I start implementing automation into my house in the near future.
We didn't cover a lot of news this week cuz we spent a lot of time catching up with Kurt and talking about random stuff. Kurt's audio doesn't sound as good this week because I just used his Skype audio because he wasn't recording yet for the first part of the show when he was talking about some really interesting stuff.
Thanks for listening!
