In this episode, LAR's Chantale Hutchinson interviews Okanagan College student Kieanna Boomer-Jones and chemistry professor Carl Doige about a Moodle-based Growth & Goals Module. This OER module was created by Alison Flynn's research group at the University of Ottawa to support students in developing skills in Self-Regulated Learning. Over the summer of 2022, chemistry professor's Summer Li and Carl Doige adapted this OER using H5P and Moodle questionnaires to be a self-contained unit embedded in Moodle. Kienna Boomer-Jones pilot tested the module. She offered valuable feedback and even contributed an interactive H5P-based exercise.
