John Hemingway is one my oldest squash rivals. Off the court I consider him a good friend. He's a civil servant by day, but by night he has been known to do woodcarving and woodturning. We've talked in passing about his craft before, but I really wanted to do a deep dive into it. We also discussed his connection to Letterkenny, Rugby, and snowshoeing. We did not discuss Ernest Hemingway, of whom I'm told he is no relation. This was a fun episode to record.
