One year ago this week I handed in my resignation after a 16 year career in homebuilding.

I quit corporate.

It was part of what I refer to my midlife crisis or what Brene Brown refers to as the great unraveling. It was a very hard and yet very easy decision at the same time. My goal of sharing is to help women realize that you are not alone in wanting to show up as your true self. It is more important to belong than to simply fit in.
