This week Joy and Laura are discussing season 1 episode 22 “Devil’s Trap”. Sam and Dean try to save John and fight the Yellow Eyed Demon!

We discuss the fact that Sam is actually very much like John, and Dean is therefore the odd one out, how much we love Bobby, and how the demon lore on the show has changed over the course of season one. We also discuss some plot holes in this episode that annoyed us.

We have a lot to say about John being possessed and how Sam and Dean know he’s possessed. Joy’s Easter eggs include the meaning behind the name Rumsfeld, and spooky stories from the location of this episode.
