A big part of my work is helping children express their ideas. By putting words into those feelings they can see them better and make choices. Sometimes, it is the children the ones that put the words and structure into my ideas. In this case, it was a six years old girl who told me exactly what she is feeling when she is shouting at her dad.
This is not a technique or strategy, but I find that sharing this idea with children (and parents) put a great perspective into the situation and help young people and adults see the anger with different eyes.
