- On the Jeff Marek show, Elliott Friedman stated that the Habs were kicking tires on New Jersey's Pavel Zacha.  Pavel Zacha is a 24 years old, 6'3, center, a 6th overall pick in 2015. In addition, they have also spoken with Minnesota about Jack McBain. Jack McBain is a 6'4 center from Boston college.

- Josh Manson was traded to the Colorado Avalanche for a 2023 2nd round pick and blue-line prospect Drew Helleson. When this trade was made, people started to compare Chiarot and Manson and automatically suggested that the market was made and that it may have lowered Chiarot's value. What do Dave and Matt think?
