Guten Morgen from not so sunny Germany! 

I have a new episode of Caitlin, my life and I ready for you. This weeks topic: Being yourself in a digital world. 

Some of you might also be connected with me on LinkedIn and know, that the other day I wrote a post about this topic. But what a nice podcast topic this is! So I reused it and made an episode out of it. 

Nowadays, we live in an increasingly digital and social media influenced world. And if you are on this path of finding out who you are and trying to live your authentic self, it can be quite distracting, all this social media. Yes, I see myself as a very active person on social media. But there were times when I deleted certain apps, unfollowed accounts because it was messing with my mind and my self-worth.

So, I gathered a handful of thoughts on this, for you to think about and to keep in mind. At the end of the day yes, we could just delete our accounts and not bother. And I do believe a "social media detox" every once in a while is very beneficial. But I personally see social media as a way to stay in touch with people, see what they are up to in life, share what I'm doing, etc etc. I really enjoy it! At the same time, I think we should remind ourselves every once in a while, that it is an online world and it does not define who you are <3.
