The book that opened my mind to memberships “The Automatic Customer” blew my mind about what you can create memberships around

While package based services (like consulting and coaching) can be profitable, memberships allow for consistency through monthly recurring revenue

There are ups and downs of converting from course or coaching fee for service/product model to membership model.

Even though you are making the same amount of revenue at first, it seems that monthly income goes down. That’s because it’s spread over time

Membership requires continued addition of content, however we don’t often realize how much content we are ACTUALLY producing that has value.

Once the membership builds up, the consistent revenue can help bridge the gap through slow periods.

Pricing: Perceived value is everything. Think about the transformation on the other side of the consumed and applied content to really get the value of the transformation provided.
